Parents help and support:

Parent Support Advisor

The community of Honiton schools has recently employed Rachel Treacy as our Parenting Support Advisor (PSA). Rachel is available to support and advise parents, carers, grandparents or anyone that cares for a child or young person experiencing behavioural or attendance issues attending one of the schools in the learning community.

We believe that parenting is one of the most incredibly challenging, yet wonderfully rewarding jobs and recognise that parents are the experts who know their child best.  We also understand that there are many issues that crop up as children grow and relationships change and that sometimes the support or guidance from an impartial person can really help to see us through.

Rachel is available to offer support to develop parenting knowledge or help to build confidence when dealing with any issues that may affect parenting.

She is able to meet you either in school or at your home and will endeavour to meet at a time that suits you best.

Please ask Mrs Stuart (the school's administrator) if you would like her contact details
