Owls Class - Years 2 and 3
Welcome to Owls Class! We are a mixed year 2 and 3 class. This year we have been learning about 'The Vikings', 'The Great Fire of London' and 'Teeth and Eating'.
In March, we went on a school trip to Lyme Regis, where we visited the Town Mill Bakery to learn about how pastries are made. In the afternoon, we went fossil hunting along the beach with Brandon Lennon. We had a brilliant time!
Our topic this term is 'Australia'. We will be learning about where in the world Australia is, its famous landmarks and geographical features, including The Great Barrier Reef and Ayers Rock, as well as the different types of plants and animals that can be found living there.
